Hi, I’m Charley

Hi, I'm Charley.

I'm a psychotherapist working with adolescents and adults. Over the past seven years, I've come to do much of my best work with two groups in particular: adult professionals navigating ADHD, OCD, and the slower-burning effects of neurodivergence in high-responsibility roles; and adolescents and parents trying to find their way through anxiety, school avoidance, and the difficult passages of growing up.

Many of my adult clients have spent years performing well while feeling that something underneath wasn't quite working. Some have arrived with a recent diagnosis, others with a longer suspicion they've never quite named. My role is to help them think more clearly about their own minds, with less self-criticism and more understanding.

Before private practice, I worked as a Pastoral Coordinator and SENCo at international and boarding schools, having begun my career assisting a Clinical Psychologist. Working in a school taught me how anxiety, neurodivergence, and relational difficulty actually surface in young lives, often long before they reach a therapist's room.

I trained in Psychodynamic Counselling at the University of Oxford, am completing Advanced Clinical Training in Adolescent and Child Psychotherapy at the University of Cambridge, and am a registered Human Givens therapist (HGI).
